Sergiño Dest, the highly skilled right back for the U.S. men’s national soccer team, will undergo ACL surgery and miss this summer’s Copa América, a major tuneup for the 2026 World Cup.
“I will have an operation soon and will try to come back as soon as possible to my top level,” he said Wednesday.
