Allison Royalty got the start against the No. 9 Florida Gators, in the regular season finale in Tallahassee. The senior had a solid start, feeding her defense for two outs. A walk, single, and stolen base had Royalty navigating trouble. Another single, followed by an error brought in two runs early for UF.
Keegan Rothrock got the start for the Gators, having not faced the FSU lineup in the previous matchup. After making the error in the top of the inning, Kaley Mudge tripled to lead off. Following Mudge, Jaysoni Beachum tied the game with one swing of the bat.
