NFL draft: Texans excited to add 'elite' ex-teammate of C.J. Stroud

The Houston Texans picked up a player quarterback C.J. Stroud is quite familiar with on the last day of the NFL draft.

Houston took Ohio State tight end Cade Stover in the fourth round on Saturday, adding depth and versatility to a position group headlined by returning starter Dalton Schultz. Given the key role tight ends play in the Texans' offense—the position accounted for 899 yards and seven touchdowns last season—and Brevin Jordan's impending free agency, it's easy to see why the organization sees value in the former defensive end and linebacker.
