If you include yesterday’s non-conference between the Oregon Ducks and the Oregon State Beavers, then yesterday the Ducks evened their four game stretch.
But it wasn’t easy.
Oregon started Matt Umlandt, who has been pitching well of late in midweek games, and thus got the start. Tuesday, however, was not Umlandt’s night. Umlandt was not in control from the outset of this game, and it’s a wonder that the Ducks were able to come back after he dished a grand slam in the first inning.
