The fallout from a recent story about Colorado head coach Deion Sanders' unique approach to coaching and roster building is continuing.
Responding to a fan on X who called out Shedeur Sanders for acting "like he the coldest out here then put up a 4-8 season," Deion said his son will be a top-five pick in the NFL draft before asking the fan, "Where yo son going?"
Shedeur called former Colorado teammate Xavier Smith, who entered the transfer portal, "mid" in response to a story from The Athletic's Max Olson about the 53 scholarship players who left the Buffaloes from the time Deion was hired as head coach in December 2022 and the end of spring practices last year.
