The Phoenix Suns’ season ended much sooner than any of us wanted it to, and on Wednesday afternoon, both owner Mat Ishbia and general manager James Jones addressed the media for the first time since being swept by the Minnesota Timberwolves.
“Looking back, 15 months in,” Ishbia began, “we set out some goals originally to be one of the best franchises in the NBA and WNBA. I love that people are frustrated that we didn’t win an NBA championship. Because guess what? So are we.”
Yeah, we’re upset. This fan base has been through so much.
