Terry Medwin dies aged 91: Tributes pour in for the former Tottenham, Swansea and Wales winger - who helped Spurs win the double in 1961

Former Tottenham and Wales winger Terry Medwin has died at the age of 91.

Medwin won 30 caps for Wales and was part of Spurs' 1960-61 double-winning side and victorious 1962 FA Cup team.

'The club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former player, Terry Medwin,' Tottenham said in a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter).

'Terry was part of our double-winning side in 1961 and made 215 appearances in all competitions, scoring 72 goals.

'Our thoughts are with Terry's family and friends at this impossibly sad time.
